End Church is a welcoming Christian community of people who have found hope and life in Jesus. We invite people of all ages and backgrounds to explore faith and everyday life with us.
Our church began in 2013, not in a building, but on the streets of West End — walking, listening, and praying for the needs of everyday people. That simple beginning still shapes who we are today.
We hold to a faith that is both ancient and alive, drawing on the richness and beauty of the Christian tradition while living it out in the present.
We value both clarity and mystery – trusting the truth revealed in God’s word and ultimately in Jesus, while recognising that faith also invites wonder, humility, and awe.
We welcome curiosity and questions, inviting people wherever they are on their journey as they explore what they believe.
Today, End Church gathers each Sunday at Hotel West End. Throughout the week, we carry our faith into our neighbourhood – sharing meals, serving our local school, supporting local business owners, and creating space for honest conversation through The Vent Tent. In all of this, we seek to participate in Jesus’ mission to “make all things new.”

MISSION PARTNERS
LAI & HARMONY RAMODE
The Vent Tent is a simple table and chair set up on Boundary Street where anyone can sit down and get things off their chest. Set up late on weekend nights, it’s judgment-free and advice-free. Just local church pastors ready to listen … Because life’s too short to keep it to yourself.
EMMANUEL CITY MISSION
Each day, Emmanuel City Mission welcomes the homeless and vulnerable, offering safety, care, and dignity. Through practical support and compassion, the mission brings hope to those in need. As a church, we are grateful to partner in this work by providing food, volunteers, and essential items for those who rely on its services.
KATHY DADD
Kathy is passionate about helping Indigenous Australians access God’s Word in language they understand. Having completed her linguistic and theological studies, she is now serving in the Northern Territory through Bible translation, supporting Aboriginal translators and the Plain English Version. She asks for prayer for wisdom and for God to raise Indigenous partners to serve alongside her.
Peter & Natalie Morreau
Peter and Natalie Morreau, together with their four children – Madelyn, Joel, Asher and Amie – serve with Australian Aboriginal Outreach Ministries (AAOM). Based in Nhulunbuy in East Arnhem Land, they minister through Oasis Church, working among both Yolngu and Balanda communities.
Saul & Rebecca Thurrowgood
Saul and Rebecca married in 2008 and are raising a beautiful and growing family. Saul, a former computer vision researcher, came to faith through a colleague who shared Christianity with him. Rebecca, a Child of Deaf Adults, has extensive Auslan teaching and interpreting experience. Together, they serve in deaf ministry and global sign-language Bible translation.
Patrick & Gina Deller
Patrick and Gina are living and serving in Vietnam, partnering with local projects to support communities in need. Their work focuses on vocational training, mentoring leaders, hospitality and trade skills, and teaching English and life skills. They also collaborate with local organisations to care for disadvantaged individuals and strengthen long-term community development.
CRAIG & RITA Mellican
Craig and Rita are pastoring two healthy, growing churches in Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. In addition, they lead an expanding movement of churches across Thailand and a community development organisation that serves tens of thousands of people each year across Southeast Asia.
Our mission is to make fully committed followers of Jesus
This means a church full of people who are passionate about the Person of Jesus, the People of God, and the Plan of God for the world.
The Person of Jesus
We are a community secure in the Father’s love, empowered by the Spirit, and devoted to Jesus Christ. We respond in worship and obedience to who he is and all he has done for us.
The People of God
We are a diverse family transformed by the gospel. Our love for Jesus and for one another is genuine, contagious, and welcoming to all.
The Plan of God
We are a vibrant church in West End, shaping our city and reaching toward the nations. We live with the conviction that Jesus has entrusted the Great Commission to each of us personally.
OUR MISSION
OUR BELIEFS
THE NICENE CREED
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy universal and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
End Church is part of Australian Christian Churches, a Pentecostal movement of self-governing churches committed to mutual support and spreading the gospel in Australia and beyond. Founded in 1937 as the Assemblies of God and renamed in 2007, the movement now includes over 1,000 churches and 280,000 members. Our churches are vibrant, contemporary, Bible-loving, evangelical, and Pentecostal communities where people express their love for Jesus through lively worship and caring relationships, all focused on connecting people to Christ.
We share in the beliefs of the Global Christian Church, so wonderfully expressed in the Nicene Creed which can be read below.
Every Sunday we end our gathering with a blessing. As we head into a new week we want to remember and receive the goodness of the gospel so that we can share it with others. We think the words of this blessing are a good summary of how we strive to live out our faith day by day.
THE BLESSING
Go forth into the world in peace;
be of good courage;
hold fast that which is good;
render to no one evil for evil;
strengthen the fainthearted;
support the weak;
help the afflicted;
honour everyone;
love and serve the Lord,
rejoicing in the power of
the Holy Spirit;
and the blessing of God almighty,
the Father, the Son,
and the Holy Spirit,
be among you and remain
with you always.
Amen.
