EXODUS 3–6
God reveals himself as the eternal "I AM," whose presence — not our ability — is the foundation of his saving work.

THE GOD WHO JUDGES & SAVES
EXODUS 7–13
God defeats every rival and rescues his people through judgement and the blood of a substitute. But it raises a question: Why must God’s salvation come through judgement?

THE GOD WHO PROVIDES
EXODUS 14–17
The God who rescues his people also patiently provides for them as they learn to put their trust in Yahweh. For us, our faith is sustained as we learn to trust Jesus, the Rock of our salvation.

At the foot of Mt. Sinai, Israel begins to be formed into the image and likeness of their God. In the same way, God calls all his redeemed people to reflect his holy character in every part of life.

There’s a lot of rules, regulations, and commands in the Old Testament. As Christians, what are we supposed to do with all of them? And how does the gospel of Jesus Christ change how we approach Old Testament law?

THE COVENANT MEAL
EXODUS 24
Through sacrifice, God welcomes his people into covenant fellowship with himself. The scene in Exodus 24 is marked by such relational intimacy: God himself celebrates this new relationship by eating a meal with his people.

A KINGDOM OF PRIESTS
1 PETER 2:9–25
Through Jesus, every Christian has been given the privilege of representing God wherever he has placed us. That’s what Peter is on about – using Exodus language, Peter shows us what it’s like to follow Jesus in a world that doesn’t want us to. It’s a counter-cultural way of living that uses every opportunity to proclaim the praises of the Lord.

God's deepest desire is not merely to rescue his people, but to dwell among them.
